Distribution and Control Boxes

SYJLX-SL Metering Box

SYJLX-SL metering box is a dedicated enclosure for revenue-grade energy metering in three-phase 50 Hz distribution networks up to 380 V. It is designed to house utility-supplied or customer-owned kWh meters, CT modules, and disconnect switches in a secure, weather-resistant housing.

The box features a transparent polycarbonate or toughened-glass viewing window that allows meter reading without opening the enclosure, reducing the risk of tampering and meter damage. The door is equipped with a hasp for utility sealing and can accept multiple locking mechanisms for anti-tamper security.

Internal layout includes a DIN-rail mounting zone for the meter and terminal blocks, a dedicated CT compartment with cover, and a neutral / earth busbar assembly pre-wired to the outgoing terminals. Cable entry is via the bottom gland plate with provision for incoming 25–95 mm² conductors and outgoing 6–35 mm² conductors.

Rated up to 380 V / 200 A direct metering (higher via CT). Protection rating is IP4X for indoor installations and IP54 for outdoor pole-mounting variants. The box can accommodate a range of meter footprints (standard KWH, prepayment, or smart meters) with adaptor plates provided where necessary.

Typical applications include utility meter points for residential buildings, commercial tenant submetering, industrial energy-accounting check metering, and solar-PV generation metering at small to medium installations.

Standards compliance: GB 7251.3 and IEC 61439-3. The metering box is also designed to meet utility-specific metering regulations where applicable. Each unit is shipped with terminal connection diagrams, sealing hardware, and mounting brackets.

Product FAQ

Can SYJLX-SL Metering Box be quoted for an overseas project?

Yes. Submit the project SLD, voltage class, rated current, installation environment, destination country, and preferred component ecosystem so the engineering team can review the quotation scope.

Why does this source catalog page not show a public price?

Industrial electrical equipment is configured by project drawings, electrical parameters, component brands, testing requirements, packing, and delivery terms. The site uses RFQ instead of checkout or public pricing.

Are source images and source IDs preserved?

The source product ID, category, source URL, and image URL are preserved for traceability. Public claims remain limited to supplied source material and RFQ-ready product descriptions.

What information is required for an engineering quotation?

Provide five core inputs: voltage class, rated current, single-line diagram, installation environment, and destination standard. Component preferences, quantities, delivery terms, and testing requirements improve quotation accuracy.

How should buyers verify standards compliance before ordering?

Use IEC 61439-3 / GB 7251.3 family, verify by product and project scope as the initial standard family, then confirm the exact model scope, destination requirements, technical agreement, type-test evidence, and FAT plan with the engineering team before production.
